Find your calm and
confidence

Live the kind of life
you desire

No matter what you’ve tried before, you’re here, ready for change.

You may have spent time and money trying several programs, methods, even practitioners to help you better understand how to change your emotional and physical health so you don’t stay stuck and stressed out to the point you can’t do anything.

Along the way, you may have experienced some improvement or change, but no matter what you do, you find yourself back in the same circumstance.

It makes you wonder, is this it?

Is trying to change worth it?

Truth is; change can be beautiful and last a lifetime.

Does it take your best effort? — It sure does!

But I promise, the journey will be worth it. (And, I make the process really easy).

How does it work?

This is all about you

We begin by spending some time together, so I understand your specific needs and desired outcomes. Then, we’ll move to the process for successful change.

Step 1

You'll quickly drop the baggage. Let go of the things that you've picked up along life's trail that have been holding you back from your dreams. Get rid of those old patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that just don't serve you anymore. Reduce your stress, anxiety, and frustration.

Step 2

We'll explore what you want from life. How you want to live.

The experiences that you're looking forward to and what brings you joy.

Step 3

You’ll gather the good stuff. Those times in your past where you were successful, where you felt good about what you were doing and your thoughts were encouraging you.

Step 4

Then we’ll lock it in. You’ll have tools and techniques that will keep you from backsliding. And what that means is that you’ll have resilience in yourself to continue your success long after we’ve worked together.

Meet Joni Brewer

The summation of my career and life ‌includes 40+ years of working with people who have tried it all (or almost) by the time they find me.

The brain has always fascinated me, how it works, how we can change it, how it can help decrease stress, get rid of unwanted habits, change people’s relationship with food, reduce pain, and achieve other goals.

Hypnosis seemed a natural next step and I view it as my path to holistically supporting my clients and helping them live life to its fullest.

Since my initial training with Patrick Glancy in 2009, I’ve logged hundreds of hours of continuing education. I love learning, honing my skills, and making change quick and comfortable for people.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Hypnosis session like?

Successful change is a process. The first step is to meet so that I can understand your specific needs and answer any questions that you have about the coaching and hypnosis process.

We then work together to come up with a plan to make the changes that you desire.

With deep relaxation in a safe, comfortable environment, we can easily and gently discover what's kept you from meeting your goals in the past and how to change that for the future.

Still in that deeply relaxed state, I'll give you positive ideas to overcome old, outdated, negative thoughts.

Do I lose control when I'm hypnotized?

No. Actually, you're taking back control so you can make the changes that you want.

FAQ image

Can I be hypnotized?

Most people can be hypnotized - we do it every day! Motivation is the key. People that are under the influence of drugs or alcohol and people that are unable to follow instructions are the exceptions.

Hypnotists work with normal people to help with normal problems in living.

If you have any diagnosed condition a physician's written authorization is required prior to initiating work with that condition and your doctor will monitor your progress. This provides you with optimal results.

Just because I knew so much about the body didn’t mean I was immune to struggling.

Do you know how smells can take you back in time?

I’m breathing in the delicious aroma of chicken soup simmering on the stove – so good I can almost taste it. Mingling with that is the sweet smell of soap as I do the usual thing – clean my mother-in-law’s kitchen after bringing her meals to last a few days.

Then, suddenly, I’m dragged back to the present moment with the sound of the clock ticking away the seconds reminding me I needed to pick up my grandkids soon to take them to dance class. After delivering them safely home after class, I go home and make dinner for us and then finish up the work that’s waiting for me.

I loved that special time spent with them. We know that these are precious moments with our parents, kids, and grandchildren.

Moments to be savored!

It just wasn't happening. The stress and my poor habits were taking their toll on me, and I wasn't enjoying these moments anymore.

It was like I was slogging through the day, kind of checked out. Just going through the motions.

A fast food meal of burger and fries, or a chip and candy bar snack that could be quickly grabbed, were too often making their appearance. Anything to give me just a little more energy.

Getting just a few hours of restless sleep every night left me tired and unable to think clearly.

When I was awake, it was go, go, go with no downtime. It left me exhausted.

My joints hurt, my muscles ached and my brain was fuzzy.

Have you ever felt that way?

…tired

…grumpy

…inefficient

…like you’ll never catch up.

Something had to change, and I knew it had to be — me

I wanted to take back control of my thoughts and actions – do those things that would nourish my mind, body, and spirit. I wanted to get back on track to living life to its fullest.

After hundreds of hours of continuing education, these new habits changed my whole life.

  • Eating healthy foods that were still quick so that my body was actually getting the nutrition that it needed.

  • Sleeping regular hours and feeling fresh so I would feel rejuvenated in the morning.

  • Exercising every day - even if it's just 5 minutes - this builds the identity of being a person who exercises.

  • Quiet time to teach my mind to refocus and be still for just a few moments to recharge my spirit.

Now I'm on a mission to help you take control so that these can truly be the best years of your life.

  • So that you don’t have to miss out on time spent making memories with grandkids, kids, family, and friends.

  • So you feel refreshed and energetic when you wake up.

  • So you don’t have to fear for your health because of an addictive, controlling habit.

  • And most importantly, you can have a calm, relaxed, content life.

We've had enough life experiences to know that there's no quick fix or magic wand. If you're willing to put in a little time and effort, there is a way to make it easy.

The fact that you're still reading this means that you're...

  • Open to trying new experiences

  • Ready and excited about making a change to see the desired outcomes

  • Willing to do your part - understanding that a process takes some work

  • Ready to quit that old habit that's no longer serving you (making you sick and shortening your life)

My Life Outside Work

I’m sincerely grateful for the life that I’ve lived so far and the people that have supported me even with its hardships and troubles.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, kids, and grandkids with all the joy and laughter that surrounds us. Camping, hiking, and spending time at the ocean, as well as playing with our animal menagerie. There’s also crocheting, spinning fiber into yarn, and the joy of making fast, tasty nutritious meals—I don’t care for the cleaning up though. 🙂
