Joni Brewer

Hypnotist

The body and healing has fascinated me ever since I observed an open heart surgery and witnessed first hand the beating of a heart. I was hooked!

I became a nurse in 1983 and after sixteen years I decided I wanted to take a more "hands on" approach to healing. I became a Licensed Massage Therapist and started teaching Anatomy and Physiology at the Oregon School of Massage. I love that I'm able to pass on my enthusiasm for health and healing to my students.

The brain has always fascinated me, how it works, how we can change it, how it can be used to help decrease stress, get rid of unwanted habits, change people's relationship with food, reduce pain,  and achieve other goals. Hypnosis seemed a natural next step for me and I view it as my path to holistically supporting my clients and helping them live life.

Since my initial training with Patrick Glancy in 2009 I've logged hundreds of hours of continuing education. I love learning, honing my skills, and making change quick and comfortable for people.

I was trained by Patrick Glancy at Glancy Hypnosis and am a board member of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association.  I am a proud member of the National Guild of Hypnotists  and I follow the Code of Ethics that the National Guild of Hypnotists puts forth.
