No matter what you’ve tried before, you’re here, ready for change.

Along the way, you may have experienced some improvement or change, but no matter what you do, you find yourself back in the same circumstance.
It makes you wonder, is this it?
Is trying to change worth it?
Take a deep breath.
You’re in good hands with Brewer Hypnosis
Hypnosis and Lifestyle Coaching can successfully improve your life and your health.
Instead of being controlled by something, I help you take back control of your mind so you can experience life with joy, purpose, and calm, and focus on living the life you desire.
What is Hypnosis?
How Can Hypnosis Help?
Guiding you to this natural, relaxed state of self-hypnosis, I assist you in addressing whatever concern you have so that you can drop those unwanted thoughts, habits, and behaviors and live the life you dream of.
Gain a calmer, happier, better outlook on life, the ability to be in and enjoy the present moment.
Enjoy the outdoors, take a fun trip, and go for that job that you really want
Enjoy being yourself again without the limitations of physical pain.
How does it work?
We begin by spending some time together, so I understand your specific needs and desired outcomes. Then, we’ll move to the process for successful change.

This is all about you.
Step 1
You'll quickly drop the baggage. Let go of the things that you've picked up along life's trail that have been holding you back from your dreams. Get rid of those old patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that just don't serve you anymore. Reduce your stress, anxiety, and frustration.

Step 2
We'll explore what you want from life. How you want to live.
The experiences that you're looking forward to and what brings you joy.

Step 3
You’ll gather the good stuff. Those times in your past where you were successful, where you felt good about what you were doing and your thoughts were encouraging you.

Step 4
Then we’ll lock it in. You’ll have tools and techniques that will keep you from backsliding. And what that means is that you’ll have resilience in yourself to continue your success long after we’ve worked together.

Meet Joni Brewer
The summation of my career and life includes 40+ years of working with people who have tried it all (or almost) by the time they find me.
The brain has always fascinated me, how it works, how we can change it, how it can help decrease stress, get rid of unwanted habits, change people’s relationship with food, reduce pain, and achieve other goals.
Hypnosis seemed a natural next step and I view it as my path to holistically supporting my clients and helping them live life to its fullest.
Since my initial training with Patrick Glancy in 2009, I’ve logged hundreds of hours of continuing education. I love learning, honing my skills, and making change quick and comfortable for people.

What does a session look like? We’re going to talk about smoking, nicotine, hypnosis, and what to expect after your session. I will answer all of your questions. Second, we’ll clear the cravings. Then hypnosis, so your conscious and unconscious minds will work together to keep you a non-smoker for the rest of your life.

What will I need to do for this to really work? When You’re Ready, I mean really ready to quit, (and not because your spouse or children are bugging you to quit). But when YOU ARE READY, call me; Let’s set the date you finally get to stop smoking! I have a plan!
-
What is the plan you refer to?You will need to keep this top of mind. If I sent this to you via email, print it out or save a picture of it on your phone and refer to it often to be sure you are on track. >>> The Plan Using Hypnosis to successfully stop smoking, vaping or chewing tobacco. Set a Quit Date Don’t buy cigarettes that will last beyond your quit date. Post-its, Post-its, Post-its, put them up! Everywhere! On Your computer, desk, dashboard, refrigerator, TV, and all the places you go to smoke. This helps get your subconscious used to the idea (in a positive way) that you are going to give up smoking. Write on them: (Your quit date) + (I finally get to give up smoking/vaping/chewing tobacco.) 5 Days Before Your Quit Date Tell your family and friends you plan to quit and ask for their help and support. Ask them to help you succeed by not offering you cigarettes or giving you permission to fail. Tell your smoking friends if they help you “succeed”, you promise not to bug them about smoking, and when they decide they’re ready, you will help them! You know, as a smoker, we help others to fail. If they ask for a cigarette, we usually say no at first but then give in and give them one, then another and another and some of us even suggest when the person trying to quit gets a little “Grumpy”, “Why don’t you just have a cigarette it will (Lie, Lie, Lie).” It is important to have all your friends help you succeed! 4 Days Before Your Quit Date Pay Attention to when and why you smoke. Think of your daily routines and how they revolve around your habit. Think of how you can change your routines without cigarettes. 3 Days Before Your Quit Date Think of what you will do with the extra money when you stop buying cigarettes. Think of who you can reach out to when you need help. 2 Days Before Your Quit Date Get excited! Know you will be successful! Believe you will be successful! 1 Day Before Your Quit Date You are done practicing! No saving the cigarettes in case you fail! Wash & get rid of all your ashtrays. Wash the ashtray in your car and fill it with coins to remind you of the change you made! Make sure all cigarette butts (in all trash bins) are wet and ruined (you know why). Quit Day! Make sure you smoke your last cigarette at least 4 hours before your appointment. Why? I want you to KNOW that you can beat any thoughts of smoking that may come up. Remind your family and friends that it is YOUR quit day! Bring all of your leftover cigarettes with you to my office! See you there or virtually!
Just because I knew so much about the body didn’t mean I was immune to struggling.
Do you know how smells can take you back in time?
I’m breathing in the delicious aroma of chicken soup simmering on the stove – so good I can almost taste it. Mingling with that is the sweet smell of soap as I do the usual thing – clean my mother-in-law’s kitchen after bringing her meals to last a few days.
Then, suddenly, I’m dragged back to the present moment with the sound of the clock ticking away the seconds reminding me I needed to pick up my grandkids soon to take them to dance class. After delivering them safely home after class, I go home and make dinner for us and then finish up the work that’s waiting for me.
I loved that special time spent with them. We know that these are precious moments with our parents, kids, and grandchildren.
Moments to be savored!

It just wasn't happening. The stress and my poor habits were taking their toll on me, and I wasn't enjoying these moments anymore.
It was like I was slogging through the day, kind of checked out. Just going through the motions.
A fast food meal of burger and fries, or a chip and candy bar snack that could be quickly grabbed, were too often making their appearance. Anything to give me just a little more energy.
Getting just a few hours of restless sleep every night left me tired and unable to think clearly.
When I was awake, it was go, go, go with no downtime. It left me exhausted.
My joints hurt, my muscles ached and my brain was fuzzy.
Have you ever felt that way?
…tired
…grumpy
…inefficient
…like you’ll never catch up.
Something had to change, and I knew it had to be — me.
I wanted to take back control of my thoughts and actions – do those things that would nourish my mind, body, and spirit. I wanted to get back on track to living life to its fullest.
After hundreds of hours of continuing education, these new habits changed my whole life.
-
Eating healthy foods that were still quick so that my body was actually getting the nutrition that it needed.
-
Sleeping regular hours and feeling fresh so I would feel rejuvenated in the morning.
-
Exercising every day - even if it's just 5 minutes - this builds the identity of being a person who exercises.
-
Quiet time to teach my mind to refocus and be still for just a few moments to recharge my spirit.
Now I'm on a mission to help you take control so that these can truly be the best years of your life.
-
So that you don’t have to miss out on time spent making memories with grandkids, kids, family, and friends.
-
So you feel refreshed and energetic when you wake up.
-
So you don’t have to fear for your health because of an addictive, controlling habit.
-
And most importantly, you can have a calm, relaxed, content life.

We've had enough life experiences to know that there's no quick fix or magic wand. If you're willing to put in a little time and effort, there is a way to make it easy.
The fact that you're still reading this means that you're...
-
Open to trying new experiences
-
Ready and excited about making a change to see the desired outcomes
-
Willing to do your part - understanding that a process takes some work
-
Ready to quit that old habit that's no longer serving you (making you sick and shortening your life)

My Life Outside Work
I’m sincerely grateful for the life that I’ve lived so far and the people that have supported me even with its hardships and troubles.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, kids, and grandkids with all the joy and laughter that surrounds us. Camping, hiking, and spending time at the ocean, as well as playing with our animal menagerie. There’s also crocheting, spinning fiber into yarn, and the joy of making fast, tasty nutritious meals—I don’t care for the cleaning up though. 🙂
Love to read? Me too!
These are some of my favorite books and publications.
